About the role

Join GE Aerospace as a Manufacturing Technician, where you'll play a vital role in assembling and testing electro-mechanical systems that meet rigorous military specifications. In this position, you'll utilize your technical skills to interpret specifications, perform inspections, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in every step of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute complex manufacturing processes, including electro-mechanical system setup, cable assembly, and machine profile adjustments, ensuring compliance with military specifications.
  • Interpret and follow written specifications, operation sheets, and visual instructions to deliver high-quality products.
  • Maintain meticulous records of tests, quality checks, and specification data to ensure traceability and compliance.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and self-directed work environment.
  • Utilize small tools, measuring devices, and production equipment to perform tasks with precision and care.
  • Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; IPC-A-610 Certification.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a self-directed teaming environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting specifications and drawings, performing inspections, and basic computer skills.
  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $20 - $25/hr., depending on experience. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Schedule

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
