Responsibilities

  • Follows safety policies and procedures.
  • Works on various assembly lines including cartridge filling, applicator assembly, and packaging operations.
  • Fulfills all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable manufacturing procedures.
  • Builds products according to production schedules using hand tools and small power tools.
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet specified tolerances and product standards.
  • Assists manufacturing engineering with equipment maintenance and supports research and development builds.
  • Maintains organization of the production area.
  • Maintains a safe work environment.
  • Supports requirements necessary to establish and maintain FDA, ISO, and CMDR compliance.
  • Performs inspections, tests, and operations to ensure the quality of manufactured products.
  • Carries out production area (cleanroom and packaging) cleaning as outlined in the relevant cleaning schedule.
  • Supports special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Level I: Six (3) months to three (3) years experience in a directly related field.
  • Level II: Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a directly related field.
  • Level III: Five (5) or more years experience in a directly related field.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information to co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisors.
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
  • Basic understanding of using tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
  • Flexibility to work flexible and/or extended hours and punctuality in reporting to work.
  • Teamwork and willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
