Responsibilities
- Follows safety policies and procedures.
- Works on various assembly lines including cartridge filling, applicator assembly, and packaging operations.
- Fulfills all required Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Builds products according to production schedules using hand tools and small power tools.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet specified tolerances and product standards.
- Assists manufacturing engineering with equipment maintenance and supports research and development builds.
- Maintains organization of the production area.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Supports requirements necessary to establish and maintain FDA, ISO, and CMDR compliance.
- Performs inspections, tests, and operations to ensure the quality of manufactured products.
- Carries out production area (cleanroom and packaging) cleaning as outlined in the relevant cleaning schedule.
- Supports special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Level I: Six (3) months to three (3) years experience in a directly related field.
- Level II: Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a directly related field.
- Level III: Five (5) or more years experience in a directly related field.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Effective communication skills to convey information to co-workers and Team Lead/Supervisors.
- Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
- Basic understanding of using tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
- Flexibility to work flexible and/or extended hours and punctuality in reporting to work.
- Teamwork and willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
