Operator 1, Bakery- Rheon Relief - 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Rheon Relief to join our Production team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Rheon Line processes to ensure products meet quality and weight specifications
• Coordinate and guide line activities to maintain efficient production flow and meet scheduled output
• Maintain compliance with GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards across the Rheon Line
• Accurately document quality checks, line data, and production information in SAP
• Communicate effectively with Lead Bakers, supervisors, and supporting departments
• Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Rheon Operator or in a similar bakery production role
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and problem-solving ability
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate process control panels
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in hot environments with moving mechanical equipment

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred)
• Experience directing or coordinating line activities in a production environment
• Familiarity with SAP or computerized production systems (preferred)
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills in a manufacturing setting (preferred)
