About the Role
This position maintains training and standardization/evaluation records for a B-1B squadron. Record volume varies with unit manning and student throughput, and the role carries responsibility for the accuracy of currency and qualification documentation.
Responsibilities
- Review and update student and permanent party records, folders, and gradebooks per AFI 11-202V1, AFI 11-2MDS-V1, MAJCOM and installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
- Administer classes and exams, and coordinate with scheduling to ensure crewmembers are scheduled for Crew Resource Management, Instructor CRM, Instrument Refresher Course, and other grounding or pre-deployment training requirements.
- Update data in PEX and locally developed database systems as required.
- Interface with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS).
- Perform weekly individual gradebook checks of personnel training and ancillary training requirements.
- Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
- Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training accomplishment for the unit operations supervisor, and weekly summaries for the DO or group supervision.
- Generate the monthly Aircrew Qualification Level Summary (Letter of Xs) and provide in-work and final copies to Wing Current Operations and Wing Stan Eval by the last day of each month.
- Prepare periodic training and testing plans for approval and scheduling.
- Generate AF Form 4324 worksheets, training aids, and monthly and quarterly Ready Aircrew Program reports.
Requirements
- Active SECRET clearance, or a previously held SECRET clearance that expired and was not revoked.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with PEX or a similar proprietary scheduling program.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a squadron, group, and/or wing training and/or stan eval shop — OR — three (3) years in a DoD flying squadron, group, and/or wing equivalent training and/or stan eval office.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
