Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and deliver training programs for ground handling staff to ensure compliance with company policies, airline requirements, and international aviation regulations.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions to introduce new hires to company policies, culture, and expectations.
- Conduct classroom and on-the-job training sessions for ground handling staff, including baggage handling, aircraft servicing, safety procedures, and compliance protocols.
- Ensure training materials comply with IATA, ICAO, and local aviation regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate training records, certification logs, and compliance documentation.
- Submit completed OJT Checklists for all agents in training.
- Coordinate with airline partners and internal departments to align training with operational needs and customer service expectations.
- Provide refresher training and continuous learning opportunities to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and performance gaps within the organization.
- Deliver training reports and observations about training findings and trainees to the designated manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, training & development, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ground handling operations or aviation training.
- Strong understanding of aviation safety regulations, airline procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training software/tools.
- Knowledge of airline ground operations and customer service standards preferred.
- Experience in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Ability to analyze training data and improve program effectiveness.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
- Must pass background checks and airport security clearance requirements.
- Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.
