Duties
- Facilitate/provide training of hourly and management support employees
- Assist with new hire orientation and equipment specific training
- Evaluate plant training and recommend appropriate courses of action to management
- Train new employees during their initial 90 days of employment
- Motivate employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity
- Ensure all hourly and management support employees receive appropriate training
- Correct and retrain employees exhibiting behavior contrary to previous training
- Deliver quality hands-on training and recommend training methods
- Work with production management team to improve operations
- Conduct training audits to identify training gaps and correct deficiencies
- Validate training outcomes, materials, and methods
Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- General computer knowledge and proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Bilingual candidate preferred
- Demonstrable ability to evaluate employee performance and techniques
- Ability to work under minimum supervision
- Demonstrable communication skills, including reading and speaking in English
- Must maintain confidentiality with professionalism and discretion
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60lbs
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including weekends
Skills
- Mechanical aptitude or background in working with precision machine parts (preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training background (minimum of 2 years)
- High school diploma or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions
