Operations Technician (OPSTCH1)
Essential Functions
- Aid in food preparation and batch cooking support.
- Support meal assembly and meal service.
- Maintain proper food rotation, storage, and stocking.
- Monitor food holding and preparation temperatures for compliance.
- Perform preventive maintenance on cooking and sanitation equipment.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with health and food sanitation standards.
Education (Required/Desired)
Required: High School Diploma / GED equivalent.
Desired: Food Service Education.
Experience (Required/Desired)
- Desired: Knowledgeable in inventory control.
- Desired: Familiarity with HACCP, TB MED-530, FDA and U.S Department of Health and Human Services Food Code standards.
Skills And Specifications
- Technical Skills: Conduct sanitation and food equipment maintenance, ensuring proper functionality.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow food hygiene standards, allergen awareness protocols, and food safety compliance.
- Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Apply troubleshooting techniques to food preparation equipment and storage systems.
- Communication & Customer Service: Listen to customer concerns and ensure guest satisfaction through service execution.
- Organizational & Management Skills: Assist with food inventory control and documentation procedures.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk, see, hear, stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, climb, engage in repetitive motions, and use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
- Routine and repetitive lifting and carrying of materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted (or heavier with the use of proper equipment and procedures).
Expected Hours of Work
The ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends will be required based on contract needs. It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.
Work Environment
This job operates in facility and field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS). Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, occupational health physical and lift test (if applicable), credit check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment. Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
