Responsibilities
- Manage daily work functions to ensure the achievement of daily business goals.
- Cook internal and external training, and coach/manage manufacturing operators to ensure that desired performance is achieved, and all operating standards are adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility.
- Produce server/rack products in accordance with the provided specifications including quality and quantity.
- Supervise daily work of all staff, assisting in problem solving to achieve daily/weekly KPIs including new product transfers and launches.
- Monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product line Run Rates and First Pass Yield by identifying inefficiencies and taking responsive and corrective actions for immediate remedy utilizing: Lean manufacturing tools and Kaizen events, QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control), and LPA (Layered Process Audit) programs.
- Conduct 5S - Maintain cleanliness and organizing of the manufacturing floor.
- Resolve technical issues ASAP when possible.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve and update MPIs, Tool, Fixtures, and overall process.
- Measure, track and improve OLE (Overall Labor Effectiveness).
- Work with MFG PM, Warehouse, PE/QE, and Facility for taking immediate steps to ensure optimal efficiency, remove obstacles, and eliminate unnecessary downtime to achieve production goals.
- Maintain communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood and communicate with other shifts to ensure production handovers are effective.
- Review the performance of employees, recognize their contribution, and develop their career growth.
- Be on time to set up work schedules & support work on weekends as needed.
Requirements
- B.S. / 4 Year college degree, engineering related degree preferred or associate’s degree with 3 years relevant work experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work and understand engineering instructions and specs.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Fully fluent in written and spoken English.
