Responsibilities

  • Arrives on time, in uniform, and maintains a high level of professionalism.
  • Participate in all aspects of the conversion process for events.
  • Setting up and tearing down flooring, chairs, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings, and equipment.
  • Detail cleaning
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Work at a fast pace and effectively under pressure and on a stringent schedule to produce accurate results.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, other employees, and patrons encountered in the course of employment.
  • Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power-driven equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following: event set-up, cleaning, landscaping, maintenance, manual labor, electric, plumbing, roofing, painting, and/or related field.
  • Previous experience using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power-driven equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Able to access all areas of the facility (requires personal mobility), which may include bending, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate-to-loud noises.

Pay

This position will pay an hourly rate of $14.00.
