About the role

Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the production process of hollow metal doors and frames.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the efficient and accurate manufacturing of products, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Operate or learn to operate machinery and equipment according to daily production needs while meeting quality expectations and safety standards.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying and addressing any defects or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.
- Perform other duties and special projects as required.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Comply and enforce compliance of all state and federal regulations, Company standards, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent / Technical certification or relevant experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or construction preferred, but not required.
- Ability to carry 5-30 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to use hand tools, read shop drawings, and accurately use a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions (both written and orally) in English.
- Available to work overtime when business demands require.
