Operations Team Leader

About the Role

Primo Brands, a leading branded beverage company in North America, is seeking an Operations Team Leader to join our branch frontline leadership team in Norfolk, VA. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on overseeing route drivers, improving productivity, and streamlining branch activities to achieve peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Support branch leadership in daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Streamline branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to the team, including training new hires and teaching upselling techniques.
• Ensure safety by operating vehicles responsibly, completing DOT documentation, and following safe work practices.
• Assist with daily branch closing activities, driver execution reviews, and team meetings.
• Lead the team to achieve and exceed sales targets by coaching on effective upselling techniques.
• Cover routes and work flexible hours as needed based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with the Operational Leader to develop and implement strategies for improved customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 250+ units per day, each weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, stoop, bend, squat, push, and pull.
• Ability to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle 40-55 times per day.
• Willingness to work an average 45-hour week or more, with variable start/end times.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with no disqualifying offenses in the last 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age or older (DOT requirement).
• Strong English language skills for effective communication with customers and team members.

Pay

$73,000 annually

Schedule

Monday - Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs), start time between 6 am - 7 am until workload is completed.
