Responsibilities

• Assign work based on priorities set by the Operations Manager in the Shipping Department
• Ensure operators follow required duties and tasks as prescribed by Millstone SCP’s and DWI’s
• Assist in resolving operational and quality issues encountered during kit inspection and shipping operations
• Recommend and implement changes to DWI
• Support process improvement initiatives
• Train new operators
• Perform visual inspection of medical devices and instruments, requiring the ability to detect defects; 20/20 or corrected 20/20 vision required

Requirements

• One to two years of prior experience
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Ability to train other employees
• Attention to detail
• Mid-level familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP, and other common programs
• Ability to read and write the English language
• Advanced inventory control (FIFO)
• Advanced blueprint interpretation skills
