Operations Systems Analyst – Electronic Warfare
About the Role
Parsons is looking for an experienced Operations Systems Analyst to join our team in Dahlgren, VA. In this role, you will contribute to naval electronic warfare capabilities, addressing new and emerging threats with innovative engineering solutions. Key projects include the Softkill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) and continuous improvement of the AN/SLQ-32 system to ensure ship self-defense and force projection for the U.S. Navy. Work is on-site at NSWC Dahlgren in King George, VA.
Parsons supports Integration and Testing (I&T) on Navy Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, specifically targeting AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and (V)7 variants. Your work will ensure the quality, performance, and operational standards of the SKCS program.
Responsibilities
- Perform rigorous Integration & Testing (I&T) on Navy EW systems, focusing on SLQ-32 (V6/V7) variants.
- Develop, implement, and execute technical procedures for comprehensive product testing.
- Review and evaluate test results to identify system gaps; recommend design or production modifications to meet performance and quality standards.
- Organize, lead, and host large-scale technical meetings, workshops, and stakeholder conferences.
- Create, review, and maintain highly technical documentation, including Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Concepts of Employment (CONEMP), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support Developmental and Operational Test & Evaluation (DT&E/OT&E) cycles using Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of related professional experience.
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
Skills
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
- Deep understanding of threat systems, red adversary tactics, kill chains, blue force OPLANS, and Fleet operations.
- Direct experience with Electronic Maneuver Warfare Systems, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), and the generation of EW Gaps and Capabilities.
- Proven background in systems development, testing, and lifecycle management within an Agile framework.

Additional Desired Experience
- Eight (8) years of direct experience (or equivalent) in threat system analysis and/or the operation of U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare systems.
- Experience with military, aerospace, defense, transportation, industrial, telecommunications, or other mission-critical systems.
- Prior USN (military or civilian) experience.
- Experience with AEGIS combat system interfaces or similar SoS weapons systems.
- Experience working with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Security Clearance
A security clearance is not required to apply; however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship, prior to the start date.
Pay
Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $111,300.00
