Operations Support Representative - After Hours

About the role

Ryan Transportation is an operations support representative position within Shamrock Trading Corporation. This position is responsible for managing and responding to inbound calls and emails related to customer service, conducting routine follow-up calls, maintaining records, providing updates, coordinating logistics, and tracking and tracing orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to inbound calls and emails in all aspects of customer service
• Conduct routine follow-up calls as directed by Carrier Sales and Account Management representatives
• Maintain records through timely and accurate system updates
• Provide timely and efficient updates to Account Managers as new information arises
• Utilize active listening skills to gather necessary details and anticipate potential issues
• Cook up logistics activity including issue resolution, communication between carrier operations, customer operations, and sales
• Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork

• Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills to meet customer needs and communicate results

• Prioritized ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or operations role. Experience in the transportation industry is preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts can be customized, but must be able to work the following schedule requirements: 3 weekday shifts from the hours of 3:00PM-12:00AM and 2 weekend shifts from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
