Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, test, and make minor repairs to computer hardware, software, and related systems to ensure reliable and secure operations.
  • Support calls by troubleshooting technical and process issues, test and maintain system functionality—including CCTV and computer components—and install software and applications that support efficient workflows.
  • Consult with users to assess hardware and software needs, evaluate compatibility of new programs and equipment, and gather data to support technical purchasing decisions.
  • Confirm program objectives by testing and adjusting component settings against established standards, install and test products to verify proper performance, and document all hardware and software updates.
  • Prepare user reference materials, train users through in-person sessions and digital learning resources, and stay current on emerging technologies through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of Service Desk/Help Desk experience
  • At least 2 years customer service experience
  • Some knowledge in IT
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Software maintenance and testing capability
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00-$25.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity.
