About the role
The Operations/Supply Chain (OSC) Finance Organization at RTX has an immediate need for a P3 Principal Financial Analyst supporting the ASDS Mission Area, specifically the TPY portfolio. The candidate will work on a team of Operations Analysts executing all aspects of the production finance processes (EACs, EVMS, etc).
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of operations analysis while infusing expertise and best practices into the organization.
- Drive analytical capability growth and appropriate functional ownership accountability to the results generated through side-by-side analysis with working teams.
- Build rapport and trust with all stakeholders, serving as a critical business partner providing insight and guidance to Mission Areas and Business Unit Leadership.
- Understand program area drivers, identify trends or drifts within the organization, consolidate information, and recommend / execute solutions to challenges as appropriate.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse, or similar systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
- An understanding of material EACs cradle-to-grave (Gate 3 – Gate 11).
- Ability to absorb performance indicators to create consolidated executive presentations.
- Strong experience with Excel and other business analytical tools.
- A strong understanding of company command media, disclosures, and GAAP.
- Knowledgeable of varying lifecycle program controls.
- Experience with financial evaluations of programs performance.
- A subject matter resource willing to execute analysis side-by-side with team members.
- Convey business acumen to stakeholders without financial backgrounds or expertise.
- Comfort taking on dynamic environments and new challenges.
- Clear, succinct and polished written and verbal communication skills.
