About the role
Join Amazon's Cargo Integrity & Recovery Services (CIRS) team as a Supply Chain Manager, where you'll play a critical role in protecting Amazon's inbound supply chain from in-transit theft and cargo loss. You'll lead investigations, analyze complex data patterns, and collaborate with carriers and internal stakeholders to ensure freight integrity across our Domestic First Mile network.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with external carriers and selling partners regarding compliance requirements and cargo integrity standards
- Investigate unreceived inventory cases and identify root causes through comprehensive data analysis
- Compile and deliver reports on investigation findings, trends, and patterns in the cargo integrity space
- Evaluate shipments for potential in-transit loss and initiate formal investigations when warranted
- Manage team labor planning and resource allocation across investigation verticals
- Develop and implement new investigation procedures to enhance cargo protection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL
