Operations Supervisor, Night Shift

About the role

As an Operations Supervisor on our Night Shift team, you’ll help keep our distribution center’s shipping department running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll lead a team of warehouse associates, support daily operational planning, and foster a positive, high-performance environment. Your leadership helps ensure that life-saving medications reach patients who depend on them every day.

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–Completion (hours vary based on business volume)

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Support the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and directing night shift warehouse activities.
• Lead, coach, and develop associates and lead staff to ensure high morale, work quality, and performance standards.
• Train team members and manage performance through consistent feedback and accountability.
• Identify root-cause issues and implement effective solutions to maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations and safety policies.
• Assist with managing operational expenses, overtime, and employee turnover.
• Maintain high standards of equipment functionality, warehouse organization, and housekeeping.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and an inclusive culture across the shift.

Critical Skills / Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and developing frontline staff.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and make sound operational decisions.
• Proven ability to drive employee engagement and foster a positive team culture.
• Flexibility to work Sunday–Thursday night shift, with a typical start time of 5 PM, and adjust hours or work overtime based on business needs.
