Operations Supervisor Role

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations across inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and shipping
• Ensure all orders are processed with accuracy and on-time departure (OTD) metrics
• Balance labor across zones based on volume fluctuations and workload
• Drive adherence to work standards, SOPs, and customer requirements
• Directly supervise associates, leads, and team coordinators
• Conduct pre-shift huddles outlining goals, safety focus, and performance expectations
• Coach employees on productivity, quality, and safety standards
• Manage attendance, discipline, and performance improvement plans (PIPs)
• Develop bench strength by identifying and mentoring future leaders

Requirements

• Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of frontline associates by providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed, while also developing a strong team culture of inclusion and belonging
• Take proactive measures to consistently uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, fostering a culture of heightened safety awareness throughout the organization
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas of improvement
• Provide regular reports and analysis to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing warehouse operations
• Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration, facilitating regular and effective dialogue among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 1+ years operations experience in a lead/supervisor/management role, preferred.
  • 1+ years logistics industry experience, preferred.
  • Staff management, workload planning, objective setting and organizational skills, preferred.

Pay

• National salary range: $62,500 - $70,000
• California salary range: $70,304 - $82,000
• Washington salary range: $80,169 - $82,000

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2nd shift
• With flexibility to adjust to other shifts as needed
