Operations Supervisor- Blue Springs, MO

About the role

ID Logistics US, a global leader in third-party logistics, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Blue Springs, MO. Reporting to senior management, you will manage your team's workflow, ensuring safety and efficiency through process improvement, target setting, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
• Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints, and associate concerns.
• Oversee associates.
• Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Some college level study is required.
• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Leverage of lean six sigma experience is a plus.
• Experience in inventory management is a plus.
• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) is a plus.
