Responsibilities
- Supporting safety, operational, and maintenance priorities under the guidance of the Operations Manager
- Ensuring team members are trained to identify hazards and perform duties safely
- Verifying all work is performed in strict accordance with policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and motivating work environment
- Supervising and auditing critical safety procedures with regular site presence and feedback
- Aiding with budgeting, forecasting, and routine cost analysis
- Communicating outage plans to business partners to minimize customer impact
- Promoting collaboration and information sharing across teams
- Building and leading effective teams through workforce planning and career development
- Delegating and coordinating work assignments
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Managing costs through accurate planning, scheduling, and compliance focus
- Analyzing processes and developing improvements and documentation
- Acting as a subject matter expert or change agent for key organizational initiatives
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisor or senior lead role
- Minimum of 8 years of industry-specific operations experience
- Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance
- Commitment to safety as a top priority
Preferred
- Associate’s degree
- Proficiency in troubleshooting tools such as P&IDs, data historian process trending, SCADA, and analyzer systems
- Serves as a role model for safe operations, providing a visible leadership presence and holds team members equally accountable for safety and adherence to the risk management systems in place
- Ensures all employees within their area are adequately trained and qualified to identify hazards and safely carry out duties as required
