Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead our 25-person manufacturing division. This role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for daily production across all departments, safety outcomes, quality control, on-time delivery, fostering a positive culture, coaching staff, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Daily production across foam fabrication, crate construction, kitting, and finishing
• Safety outcomes — zero recordable injuries
• Quality assurance at every stage of production, meeting aerospace and defense standards
• On-time delivery coordination and resolution of bottlenecks
• Culture building, valuing, hearing, and trusting employees, ensuring their work matters
• Development of coaches and production staff through clear expectations and fair addressing of issues
• Leading complex projects that drive lasting improvements, not quick fixes

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace, defense, or medical device packaging. Proven track record of achieving safety, quality, and delivery targets. Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools
• Knowledge of aerospace and defense packaging standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
