About the role

This assignment will be responsible for, but not limited to, the assessment and coordination of personnel, equipment and inventory to meet daily productivity goals and timelines, ensuring all standard operating procedures for the assigned area(s) are followed.

Responsibilities

  • Directs all associates in their assigned area of responsibility.
  • Confer with management, production, or other departments to discuss shift notes, process specifications or procedures.
  • Supports the development and implementation of standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department focused on Continuous Improvement Techniques.
  • Updates and shares weekly Manpower documents in the organization.
  • Participates in meetings to make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of Lean Management.
  • Implements and forces the organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, organizational standards, over all areas of their responsibility, to achieve the vision of the company.
  • Applies the procedures in the areas under the responsibility, to ensure compliance with them.
  • Improves business processes, to make robust and efficient processes.
  • Participates in 5S work area.

  • Knows and follows standard work procedures and safety rules for all tasks assigned.

Qualifications

  • Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
  • Bending and/or reaching may be required.
  • Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on Shop Floor to prevent injury to self or others.

Benefits
