Operations Supervisor

Roles And Responsibilities

• Understands production goals and implements actions necessary to meet objectives
• Provides leadership to direct reports; coaches and counsels employees
• Facilities problem solving and team building activities
• Understands quality goals and implement actions necessary to meet goals and ISO 9000 standards
• Reviews plant supply inventory and advise purchasing when levels are low
• Ensures training is effectively carried out and oversee completion of training checklists
• Communicates with other departments within the facility, as well as other locations
• Understand customer requirements, participates, and advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing equipment
• Provides direction and coaching in safe work practices; support safety goals
• Reviews unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazard
• Follows and enforce CBA and Memorandum of Agreement
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• A High School Diploma / GED is required; College Education preferred
• A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience
• Experience with SAP and OTM preferred
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

The successful candidate is expected to develop proficiency in SAP as part of their role. Prior experience is not required, but a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in SAP is essential
