Strategic Procurement Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements within the procurement function.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
- Address supplier concerns and resolve disputes effectively.
Procurement Process Optimization
- Streamline the procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement best practices and industry standards in procurement operations.
- Monitor and improve procurement workflows and procedures.
Cost Control and Budget Management
- Develop and manage the procurement budget.
- Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to optimize costs.
- Implement cost control measures and track cost savings.
Sales Order Processing
- Sales order management and fulfillment management.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Mitigate procurement-related risks and maintain documentation for audits.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance and key performance indicators.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
- Set performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in procurement, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong math and research skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CIPS).
- Understanding of customs, VAT and Incoterms for export/import activities.
- Strong knowledge and working experience with ERP.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Work is typically performed either in an office environment with a moderate noise level or at your home.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to frequently sit and occasionally must stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include the ability to read and analyze data in hard copy and on a computer screen, measure, or identify using eyesight and adjust vision focus.
- Abilities to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups.

- Health care: effective first of the month following 30 days waiting period.
- 401K: Require 3 months of service to be eligible.
- Paid holidays; 88 hours of vacation first year; 56 hours sick leave per year.
