Operations Supervisor

About the role

ID Logistics US, a global leader in third-party logistics, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Scranton, PA and involves managing workflow, ensuring safety and efficiency, and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
• Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Helps maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Maintains daily compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports.
• Provides on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels.
• Helps coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work.
• Oversee associates.
• Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required. 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role. Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Microsoft Office Suites experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Lean six sigma experience a plus. Inventory experience a plus. Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.

Benefits

Compensation includes an attractive annual starting salary of $63,000 plus bonus, along with benefits such as PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
