Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provides overall CSC operational leadership by directing student transportation services, driver training and vehicle maintenance programs to support the operating plan and overall business goals.
• Provides staff leadership by promoting and ensuring safe, efficient and effective operations.
• Makes sure all employees have the necessary skills and abilities to perform their jobs.
• Ensures all employees meet performance expectations and provides coaching and counseling as needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, and escalates violations to appropriate personnel.
• Oversees compliance with state and district regulations.
• Attends meetings with School District Representatives and represents the company professionally.
• Prepares and submits required customer-related reports in a timely manner.
• Manages and documents customer and employee complaints, and reviews customer survey data.
• Manages direct and indirect hours to ensure budget requirements are met.
• Exhibits high ethical standards and shares concerns about suspicious behavior with supervisors.
• Optimizes vehicle routing.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some college education preferred.
• At least 5 years of work experience, with 3 years in ground transportation industry preferred; supervisory experience can be substituted with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• College education can substitute up to 2 years of required work experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Software and transportation related software.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and group presentation skills.
• Proven multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License with appropriate endorsements preferred.
• Bilingual abilities a plus.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
