Operations Supervisor-2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Plant Manager, Materials Manager, and other department managers as part of the management team.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Value‑Added Assembly (VAA) area, including staffing, training, scheduling, processing, equipment maintenance, and loss prevention.
• Train, coach, and manage all VAA associates on company policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely distribution of outgoing deliveries in accordance with company standards.
• Guarantee accurate processing of all material per company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the Plant Superintendent and Quality Personnel.
• Identify and solve problems that affect service and productivity in the VAA area.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and standards related to property, personnel practices, security, and record‑keeping.
• Participate in multi‑disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving (Continuous Improvement) teams.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and maintain proper documentation and records.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Two (2) or more years of supervisory, leadership, or management experience within manufacturing operations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM with occasional Saturdays.
