Operations Specialist (Level III)

About the role

This role is primarily responsible for perfecting the bank's Financial Booking, including accurate set-up and maintenance of billing schedules, pricing options, and client record data. The role involves data accuracy and timely completion of the booking and funding process, specifically for commercial Bilateral deals. It also includes funding clients after deals are booked. Timeliness and accuracy are crucial for success.

Responsibilities

• Accurate set-up and maintenance of billing schedules, pricing options, and client record data
• Data accuracy and timely completion of the booking and funding process
• Financial Booking of commercial Bilateral deals
• Funding to clients once deals have been booked
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of complex loan administration transactions in accordance with established policies, processes, and procedures
• Interacting with Document Administrators to ensure efficient, high-quality loan processing
• Booking loans, payment administration, loan system reconciliation, and quality review
• Detail-oriented work, reading and understanding loan documents
• Maintaining a strong relationship with Business Partners
• Working with limited supervision

Requirements

• Credit agreement or legal documentation knowledge
• Previous banking experience
• One to two years of Financial Booking knowledge
• Commercial Loan Knowledge
• Loan IQ experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently with little management supervision
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to communicate with attorneys and internal business partners
• Microsoft Excel skills (plus)
