Operations Specialist - Insurance Solutions

The Operations Specialist provides daily, ongoing operational support for the Insurance Solutions division of Wealth Solutions, including day-to-day operations, new request management, and tracking. This role ensures smooth implementation of new procedures and processes and acts as a liaison between various business units and client service units. We seek someone with a passion for client service, processes, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Actively involved in the overall day-to-day operational responsibilities of tracking, reporting, and updating requests in case management systems; ensuring systems and processes are in place and followed.
- Monitor and manage service requests in a centralized queue, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when needed.
- Partner with Wealth Management Teams to support client service delivery through accurate execution.
- Support ongoing operational initiatives, collaborating and coordinating with other departments and vendors.
- Assist in documenting and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs), assuring accuracy and conveying procedural changes to team members.
- Support department leadership with day-to-day operations/workflow and ensure daily service standards.
- Scan and mail documents as needed.
- Build and foster effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
- Work independently and with a team, prioritizing and managing several projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Financial services industry and/or insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of operational experience; insurance operations-related experience preferred.
- Superior organizational skills—highly detail-oriented, strong multi-tasker, excellent follow-through, meticulous.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
- Unwavering commitment to support Wealth Advisors and the sales process.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
- Versed in managing internal and external information flows and storage.
- Client-first attitude, including a passion for providing an excellent client experience.
- Team player, collaborative, and able to work in concert with others.
Schedule
Day and evening hours as needed.
Pay
Actual base pay within this range will be based on factors including geographic location, relevant experience, education, skills, and licenses/certifications. This position is also eligible for incentive compensation.
Base Pay Range: $27 - $31 USD
