Operations Specialist

About the role

TierPoint is seeking an Operations Specialist who will play a vital role in providing high-quality customer service and supporting internal and external communication. In this role, you will act as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal team members, working in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment while escalating urgent issues appropriately. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, appearance, and facility upkeep, building trusted relationships with internal teams and customers to represent TierPoint’s reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence.

Schedule

Sunday - Tuesday, 6:00am - 6:00pm
Thursday, 12:00am - 6:00am

Responsibilities

• Provides quality internal and external customer service aligned with Company values.
• Acts as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Coordinates meetings between different departments internally as well as external meetings.
• Handles both incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Monitors security cameras.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
• Availability for on-call duties and occasional shift work, including nights and weekends, as required by the data center’s operational needs.
• Ability to work in controlled environments and handle physical tasks such as lifting hardware or navigating confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High School degree or experience in a customer service/help desk environment.
• Prior experience in the data center industry (preferred).

Pay

TierPoint provides a compensation range for roles subject to pay transparency laws. The pay range may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, geographic location, and budgetary requirements.

Pay Range: $17.72 - $26.58 per hour
