Operations Specialist

About the role

The Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of service for Flexcar customers. They are responsible for maintaining and enhancing the cleanliness and condition of vehicles, ensuring they meet Flexcar standards. This role also involves using technology to assess vehicle quality and damage, communicating effectively with team members, and managing inventory and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and detailing a high volume of cars inside and out to meet Flexcar standards
• Auditing vehicle quality and damage using technology
• Communicating with other Flexcar team members using a smart device
• Completing readiness and return checklists accurately and quickly
• Conducting infleet inspections and the vehicle optioning process
• Using technology to take consistent high-quality images for the Flexcar website
• Conducting accurate, daily complete inventory scans and assisting with reconciliation process
• Managing various special projects, including their planning, execution, and stakeholder management
• Maintaining all Flexcar facilities and property to company standards
• Assisting the order delivery team to deliver customer cars for orders, as needed
• Completing other assigned tasks from team leads and managers as directed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications

• Properly manage vehicle inventory, including organizing a parking lot and correctly labeling cars
• Address issues with vehicles to return them to customers as quickly as possible
• Work on various special projects - managing their moving parts, timelines, and stakeholders - as dictated by unique business needs in an emerging market

Skills

• Effective multitasking and strong time management skills
• Tech-savvy, using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a customer-centric environment
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs.)

Pay

$22.50 per hour + full benefit package (day one)
