Operations Specialist

Duties

• Assists in all aspects of the elevator operations.
• Receives grain, maintains grain conditions, and measures grain inventory.
• Loads and unloads bulk and packaged fertilizer and chemical products and measures agronomy inventory.
• Aids in other locations and departments as assigned by management.
• Communicates availability regularly and assists with projects as needed.
• Maintains efficiency to optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve efficiency, and achieve cooperative’s mission and goals.
• Maintains a positive attitude promoting teamwork and upholding a favorable image of Five Star Cooperative.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good customer service skills and approach.
• Ag background a plus.
• Valid Class A CDL; Valid DOT physical card; or ability to obtain the above.
• Certification to Grade Grain (basic).
