Operations Specialist
Description
This Operations Specialist is responsible for performing daily operational duties of a Groundwater Treatment Facility in the Baltimore / Philadelphia area. Must be able to travel to project sites.
- Perform daily operation of a Groundwater Treatment Facility
- Perform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functions
- Assist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeep
- Regulatory and safety compliance
Requirements
- Apply basic knowledge of relevant principles and tools, as directed
- Apply standard protocol for work, as directed
- Communicate effectively by written and verbal means
- Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
- Work well independently and as a team
Qualifications
- 3 years of relative coursework or project experience in treatment plant operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and skilled in groundwater treatment technologies, including but not limited to metals removal systems, particulate filtration systems, sludge dewatering, ultraviolet oxidation, absorptive resin/steam regeneration systems, liquid and vapor phase granular activated carbon systems
- A Maryland Class VI Operators license or equivalent, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months employment
Pay
The targeted base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually. Actual salary offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
