Job Summary

The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role leads a team focused on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to improve consumer services, enhance fraud detection, and optimize marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading data science initiatives, with expertise in areas such as Airflow, Fivetran, Python, and Kinesis.

Responsibilities

• Led the development and implementation of data pipelines using Airflow and Fivetran
• Developed and maintained data models for actionable insights using Python and causal reasoning
• Conducted A/B testing and other experiments to inform product decisions
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven improvements in consumer services and fraud prevention
• Provided leadership and mentorship to a team of data scientists and analysts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data analytics and/or machine learning
• Proven track record of successful data science projects and implementations
• Experience with data engineering tools like Airflow and Fivetran
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with Python and data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
