Operations Specialist

About the role

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a motivated Operations Specialist to join our team in Omaha, NE. This role requires the ability to travel within a territory and have a reliable working vehicle and valid car insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC)
• Review scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account
• Communicate with Facility Solutions Manager daily for issues needing immediate attention
• Make recommendations for IC work assignments
• Manage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment
• Execute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment, and their proper use
• Troubleshoot and maintain janitorial cleaning equipment
• Coach and develop Independent Contractors
• Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial cleaning preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent in commercial building maintenance
• Prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations
• Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willingness to jump in and clean when needed
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds
