About the role
Site Manager manages the assigned scope of responsibility within a line of business and/or at specific sites within a market. The role involves overseeing operations, ensuring safety and compliance, and interacting with local agencies to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manages day-to-day operations of the depot(s)
- Supports Operations managers and supervisors in ensuring quality and budget performance
- Maintains and improves processes, procedures, and performance
- Ensures safety and compliance with Company, OSHA, and other standards and regulations
- Oversees personnel needs including selection, coaching, disciplining, and training employees
- Evaluates employee performance and provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions
- Formulates and implements short-term and long-term goals and action plans
- Participates in P&L reviews to ensure budgets are met
- Develops and implements programs for optimal equipment utilization, maintenance, and labor/material costs
- Works with local agencies to improve efficiency, renew contracts, and negotiate new contracts
- Resolves employee relations and labor relations issues
Requirements
- Supervisory experience: 5+ years supervisory/team management experience to include direct and indirect reports
- Education and Experience: Associate degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience: 3 years of work experience (in addition to education requirement) in transportation, logistics, or solid waste operations in which coaching, routing assessments, and leading employees
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience in operations, customer service, community relations, health and safety, financial, and human resources function; experience as a supervisor or manager; experience implementing safety (OSHA) programs and equipment specifications; experience preparing and managing budgets; experience resolving labor relations issues

Minimum USD $155,000.00/Yr. Salary Range Maximum USD $190,000.00/Yr.
