Operations Research Analysts

Responsibilities

Provide acquisition support for Advanced Space Project acquisition planning and development activities to include, but not limited to, space prototypes, demonstrations, and concept validation.

Provide advice and recommendations for acquisition, procurement and source selection plans and shall develop and oversee requirements to meet program, schedule, contracts and cost constraints.

Recommend contractual structures, terms and conditions and contracts price instructions to best integrate and meet budgetary mandates and reports.

Provide subject matter expertise and support to project baselines, project management plans, memorandums of agreement, requirements traceability plans, project reviews, resource plans and policies implementation plans.

Provide acquisition support for hosted payload acquisition planning and development activities.

The support shall establish, coordinate and maintain interface management between cost, schedule, budget, and technical performance while providing direct acquisition support.

Interface between the acquisition organization and program functional areas to include but not limited to interface between the program office and cost, schedule, budget, contracting, technical teams, and other program stakeholders.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree is typically required in one of the following fields: Operations Management Business Administration Industrial Engineering Systems Engineering Economics Finance Statistics Mathematics Data Analytics Computer Science Supply Chain Management Management Information Systems (MIS).

Desired

Advanced degrees include: Master of Business Administration (MBA) M.S. in Business Analytics M.S. in Operations Management M.S. in Data Analytics M.S. in Industrial Engineering M.S. in Systems Engineering.
