Operations/Research Analyst, Senior (Technical Advisor)
About the role
The Operations/Research Analyst, Senior (Technical Advisor) supports the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) - C5ISR Center - Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate. This role involves providing comprehensive research and analysis support, managing and directing analyses, performing cost analyses and modeling, and formulating scientific solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manages and directs the analyses of management problems, performs cost analyses and modeling, provides information requirements, and formulates scientific solutions as directed.
- Supports program reviews, meetings, etc.
- Provides cost estimating expertise to all personnel, at all organizational levels, on matters pertaining to the development, availability, and application of cost analysis methodology.
- Prepare, develop, and review program office estimates (POEs).
- Provide guidance and review of Government Cost Estimates.
- Conduct cost studies to facilitate the development of acquisition documentation for all aspects of lifecycle management.
- Provide subject matter expertise in the execution of Army and Department of Defense cost-saving efforts (i.e., Will/Should Cost initiatives).
- Prepare and review miscellaneous cost reports provided to senior-level management.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience and/or AS/AA or 2yr Tech School; or HS/GED w/ 15 years or military experience E7 and up.
- Knowledgeable with Department of Defense cost policies (e.g., DoDI 5000.73) as well as component policies (e.g., Department of the Army’s Cost Analysis Manual).
- TS/SCI Clearance.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledgeable with Department of Defense cost policies and component policies is essential.

Salary Range: $114,842 - $139,946
