Operations Requirements Analyst Level Three
Location: Fort Meade, MD. TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
About the role
This is a full-time position requiring 1,880 hours of support per year, performed at a customer location. As an Operations Requirements Analyst, you will provide technical direction in national and tactical cryptologic capabilities and facilitate requirements gathering by coordinating technical exchange meetings with the Services, Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), systems engineers, data modelers, and other members of the requirements team. You will also provide comprehensive definition and documentation updates for deliverables and coordinate with analysts, managers, and seniors within the Unified Cryptologic System (UCS) to verify operational requirements to assist a customer that advocates and facilitates interoperability, commonality, modernization, and integration with the U.S. SIGINT System.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction in national and tactical cryptologic capabilities.
- Facilitate requirements gathering by coordinating technical exchange meetings and other meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with the Services, Combat Support Agencies (CSAs), systems engineers, data modelers, and other members of the requirements team.
- Provide comprehensive definition and documentation updates for deliverables.
- Coordinate with analysts, managers, and seniors within Unified Cryptologic System (UCS) to verify operational requirements.
- Occasional travel required.
Requirements
- Ten (10) years of experience in Operations Requirements on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity, of which five (5) years shall be in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (e.g., systems engineering, mathematics, information technology, operations research). A High School diploma and fourteen (14) years of experience is also acceptable.
- Thorough understanding of U.S. Armed Forces tactical SIGINT operations, military capabilities, and SIGINT concepts of operation.
- U.S. Air Force SIGINT experience.
Skills
- Ability to communicate with Service Cryptologic Offices.
- Familiarity with Technical SIGINT Operations.
- Experience in the intelligence cycle, information operations, and signals intelligence technical expertise.
- Understanding of the National signals collection system.
- Familiarity with the varying levels of tactical operations and analysis taking place within the military services.
