Operations Project Manager
About the role
Oversee and manage parking facility operations. Develop, recommend, and implement programs, systems, and procedures to ensure garage operations are efficient, profitable, and maintain the company’s reputation for professional client and customer service, setting the standard of excellence in parking management. Serve as the primary business interface with client and property management representatives on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide direction and leadership at the facility, fostering a positive work environment where employees understand client needs and operate as a team to deliver high-quality service.
- Monitor and manage the financial performance of the location, developing and managing budgets, compiling and analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve profitability.
- Identify and report new account prospects and competitive activity to branch management.
- Coordinate with clients and vendors to initiate and manage the purchase of needed equipment and services.
- Develop and oversee implementation of marketing and customer service programs, reviewing reports and monthly statements with clients.
- Manage and develop facility personnel, ensuring clarity of expectations, motivation, and alignment with company success.
- Accomplish manpower and succession plans through recruitment, staffing, and intelligent placement of employees, including transfers, promotions, and demotions (with Branch Manager approval).
- Evaluate and oversee employee performance, implement development plans, and resolve performance issues, including termination when necessary (with appropriate approvals).
- Build and maintain productive relationships with union representatives, handling first-line grievance activity and training garage managers to foster positive work environments.
- Develop and implement an operations manual, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, safety standards, and audit control procedures.
- Conduct regular location visits and inspections to identify and correct operational and audit control problems.
- Implement the company’s Injury and Illness Prevention Program, ensuring compliance with OSHA laws through safety training, hazard investigations, and timely corrective actions.
- Assist with special projects and additional management responsibilities as needed.
- Prospect for potential new customers to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Work experience in the parking industry preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

Pay
$55,000 - $60,000 annual salary. Specific offers may vary based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market alignment.
