Operations Program Management Intern

Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional hardware development programs spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, testing, and other teams.
- Help develop and maintain program plans, schedules, milestones, and action-item trackers.
- Cook up engineering builds, test readiness, supplier activities, and other critical product-development efforts.
- Track program progress, identify potential risks or blockers, and help ensure issues are communicated to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepare clear, concise program updates and help keep cross-functional teams aligned around priorities and upcoming milestones.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, document decisions, and follow up with owners to drive action items to completion.
- Analyze program data and help create tools, dashboards, or processes that improve visibility and team efficiency.
- Take ownership of a scoped program or operational improvement project during your internship.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
Interest in hardware product development, robotics, consumer electronics, automotive systems, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and details.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in working across technical and non-technical teams.
Analytical and comfortable using data to understand problems and inform decisions.
Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take ownership in a fast-moving environment.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking questions, and learning new technical concepts.
Experience with project management, engineering projects, manufacturing, robotics teams, internships, or student organizations is a plus but not required.
Qualifications
The hourly rate for this position is $47/hr for Undergrad, $53/hr for Graduate students, and $58/hr for PhD students*.
