About the Role
As a contributor at Corebridge, you are the one clients turn to in times of need. You act with speed, composure, compassion, and knowledge to solve problems, and the work you do every day is the heart of Corebridge's business.
As a member of the Corrections Team, you will help clients with various financial services that impact their accounts. You will correct accounts on Retirement Services operating systems, which may include:
- Correcting product features/services on accounts
- Posting funds and updating required fields accurately
- Combining accounts
- Communicating directly with advisors and other key field representatives regarding corrective activity
- Ensuring accuracy with all corrective activity
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal and external customers and other departments, researching all approaches to meet client needs.
- Maintain high work standards by reviewing and processing complex financial and legal documents.
- Process correction requests while maintaining quality review standards and timelines.
- Use positive customer relations skills to communicate accurately, clearly, and professionally.
- Learn, understand, and interpret services offered to assess and correct errors, ensuring compliance with products and services sold.
- Work in a team environment, develop working relationships inside and outside the organization, share information and ideas, and strive for continuous improvement.
- Handle special complex projects as assigned.
- Evaluate and resolve escalated and high-priority cases using research skills and alternative approaches.
- Evaluate different resolutions and/or methods of correction depending on the corrective activity requested.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of business experience (VALIC experience is a plus).
- 1+ years’ experience creating and/or working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to prepare simple and/or complex calculations (preferred).
- SAP, TAPS, and Wire Transfer experience preferred.
- 1+ years' experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping is preferred.
- Excellent written customer service skills, including the use of Excel spreadsheets and shared documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent prioritization skills to manage caseload.
Work Location
This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston, TX office and is subject to our hybrid working policy, which gives colleagues the benefits of working both in an office and remotely.
