Operations Officer II
Core Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily branch operations to ensure deposit services are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
- Ensuring the branch is operationally ready, including systems, equipment, supplies, and required controls
- Serving as a go-to operational resource for deposit relationships, working closely with Relationship Managers and internal teams
- Supporting operational continuity through scheduling coordination, training, and cross-training, in alignment with branch leadership
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring adherence to operational guides, schedules, and documentation requirements
- Safeguarding Bank assets by following and enforcing internal controls, security procedures, and audit requirements
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal banking regulations and completion of required training
- Supporting audits, certifications, and operational reviews through preparation and timely follow-through
- Identifying operational risks or inefficiencies and escalating or recommending practical solutions
Impact of the Role
The Operations Officer II helps ensure customers’ deposit relationships are supported by reliable execution and informed service. As deposit activity grows or shifts, this role helps the Bank respond by delivering effective deposit solutions without compromising controls or service quality. When this role is operating well, deposits scale smoothly and client trust is reinforced.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in branch operations, deposit operations, or a related banking role
- Demonstrated ability to manage non-routine operational issues with minimal supervision
- Solid working knowledge of deposit products, wire processing, cash operations, and controls
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standards
- Working knowledge of documentation standards and internal controls
Preferred: 5–6 years of deposit or branch operations experience, Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Salary Range
$70,000.00 - $85,000.00

Working Conditions & Additional Information
This is a primarily in-office position and requires regular use of standard office equipment and banking systems. The role involves frequent interaction with clients, as well as ongoing coordination with internal teams and third-party service providers, and may include time-sensitive requests.
