OPERATIONS MECHANIC - FRONT END | 4 ON 4 OFF | 6P - 6A | STARTING WAGE $32.63 PER HOUR

Duties And Responsibilities

• Inspect, upend, and load coils onto the unwinder, ensuring proper feeding through the lubricator and into the press.
• Perform setup, maintenance, and operation of the upender, unwinder, lubricator, and cupping press.
• Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of body makers, trimmers, and conveying systems.
• Maintain quality by conducting visual inspections and cup weight checks to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Take corrective measures as necessary to maintain quality.
• Absorb other production areas as needed to ensure can flow through the plant.
• Complete required paperwork, including coil logs, check sheets, and other documentation.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Exhibits effective problem-solving and troubleshooting methods.
• Basic knowledge of how electrical components work.
• Ability to use precision measurement devices (i.e. calipers, micrometers and dial indicators).
• Strong understanding of applicable safety regulations, reinforcing a culture where safety is the top priority.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with all team members.
