Position Summary
The Operations Manager, Warehouse supports the General Manager to ensure the effective operational efforts of an individual client location under limited supervision. The Warehouse Manager participates in the development and implementation of location policies and procedures. They also conduct operational analyses, and audits current procedures to monitor and improve the efficiency of operations and client satisfaction. The Warehouse Manager will spend most of their time in the warehouse maximizing the performance of the site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversight of the daily operations of the warehouse and to ensure daily objectives are being met
- Maintain Lean Six Sigma throughout the warehouse
- Enforce company compliance standards
- Support an environment that fosters open and positive team communication
- Build a strong rapport with our service providers and clients
- Communicate daily goals of facility; devise, communicate and implement plans to obtain operational goals; work with and motivate employees to ensure goal achievement; provide progress or constraint updates to management and implement corrective measures as needed
- Enforce location safety management plans
- Delegate and direct the work of the warehouse team
- Manage a team of direct reports (punctuality, performance, time and attendance, discipline, coaching, etc.)
- Interview, train, select employees
- Performing other duties as assigned (may vary depending on client requirements)
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two (2) years or more of warehouse experience required
- Must have people management experience
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, along with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms with customers, employees, peers, and management
- Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, workgroups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to act as a Location’s point of contact in the absence of the General Manager
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills
- Exposure to Lean principles and 5S systems, tools, and standards (beginner level)
