About the role

At least 1 year of experience serving as a Facility Manager for a DoD organization or certified as a Level II DAU Facility Engineer. The role involves reviewing customer requests for emergency, urgent, or routine service and project work, inducting them into a tracking database, and capturing all pertinent data. You will use information from the customer and management tools to determine the importance of service work or projects relative to financial and mission factors. Additional responsibilities include identifying, tracking, mitigating, and managing risk and issues in a formal repository.

  • Proficient in MS Project with experience developing program schedules for facility-related projects.
  • Complete PMT 0160 or at least 1 year of experience developing facility project cost estimates.
  • At least 1 year of experience planning and managing VIP events for DoD and Military senior leaders, including serving as master of ceremonies, developing and staffing Letters of Instruction, and coordinating at least 5 VIP events for DoD senior leaders while ensuring required protocols are followed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to simultaneously track and report the progress of at least ten projects.
  • Knowledgeable of DoD Government Purchase Card operations and associated policies, with proficiency in performing market research using GSA eTools.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • At least 36 months of experience, education, or training in program or managerial roles directly related to the position or comparable functions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and/or lead complex and/or major work requirements associated with surveying, inspecting, programming, scoping, estimating, designing, monitoring, reviewing, and managing facilities sustainment, repair and maintenance, construction projects, and service contracts.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders via meetings or virtual meetings to resolve issues related to facilities job status, priorities, milestones, tracking procedures, and schedules to eliminate conflicts and facilitate timely project completion.
  • Apply knowledge/experience in facilities planning, programming, and funding, such as maintenance execution, maintenance actions, and long-range maintenance plans to assess and advise supported clients on the feasibility of their requirements.
  • Demonstrate broad, comprehensive knowledge of facility administration concepts, including supervision and management of planning, design, and construction of major structures and facilities. Expertise in space utilization, building environmental systems, fire and security systems, masonry and reinforced concrete construction, roofing systems, energy management, and pavement construction. Ability to identify deficiencies and prepare scopes of work for repair.
  • Enter work orders into the SANG 127th iEMS Work Order System.
