Operations Manager - Medium Voltage

For our client, we are seeking a Operations Manager - Medium Voltage to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will lead the buildout of a medium voltage operations function, with a focus on creating scalable processes, developing a team, and strengthening day-to-day execution. The position will partner closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and field crews to improve maintenance delivery, safety, and operational consistency. It is well suited for a hands-on leader who can bring structure to a growing operation while supporting nationwide scheduling and technical oversight. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $111,000 – $161,500 annually Responsibilities Lead the hiring and development of a medium voltage team over five years. Create and implement operational procedures for maintenance activities. Transition maintenance work from third-party contractors to in-house teams. Manage relationships with third-party contractors for specialized workload. Serve as a subject matter expert on medium voltage systems across departments. Oversee nationwide scheduling and execution of maintenance requests. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage crew logistics. Qualifications 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in medium voltage utilities or renewable energy sectors. Proven track record in building and leading teams from the ground up. Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems and maintenance practices. Experience in developing operational protocols, including SOPs and safety standards. Background in subcontractor management and technical oversight.
