Operations Manager III

About the role

The Operations Manager III supports the Product Manager Biometrics (PM BIO) within Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors (PM TS), Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE), Layered Protection and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN).

Responsibilities

• Oversees system procurement, fielding, and sustainment activities.
• Manages logistics and support for personnel deployed to OCONUS locations.
• Collaborates with Army units for fielding, training, and troubleshooting.
• Manages system upgrades and tech refreshes.
• Conducts training on the use and operation of BCC systems.
• Develops and updates user guides, lesson plans, course curriculum, and other training materials as applicable.
• Fosters open communication between all stakeholders, including military personnel, government civilians, and contractors, to ensure product satisfaction.

Requirements

• Required Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Seven (7) years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with biometric technologies and identity management systems.
• Experience working on DoD or other U.S. government contracts, with a strong understanding of Army acquisition and sustainment processes.
• Experience with the Army's Total Package Fielding (TPF) process, including New Equipment Fielding (NEF), New Equipment Training (NET), Platform Integration (PI), and Technical Field Support.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Secret security clearance.
