Summary
Manages the daily workflow of assigned department or unit.
Responsibilities
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Assesses the quality of services delivered and coordinates services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. May provide patient services when necessary.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.

Education and Certification Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field of study. Master's preferred.
Required Work Experience
- Three (3) years of experience working in healthcare.
